Segway HT America

Segway HT America faced a dilemma when launching their company: How do you promote a totally new, virtually unknown alternative transportation system to a market (Houston) deeply in love with their SUVs?

Our strategy focused on educating the consumer first. By positioning the Segway HT as essential to a hip, modern, urban lifestyle, Segway HT America is actively creating and shaping a subculture. Their brand vision, brand values and visual communications focus on the emotional and social benefits of being a Segway HT owner. The message is spreading – brand awareness and brand recognition are rapidly increasing. And, in less than one year they have become the #1 distributor of Segway HTs in the country.

Kids R Kids in The Woodlands

As a business owner, Debbie Bullard is wrapped up in the day-to-day operation of her business. She knows that marketing is essential to maintaining her success, and yet, it is not her strength. Choosing Water Design Studio allowed her to concentrate on running her business, while we concentrate on getting the word out.

Over the last 18 months, we have updated their brand image to reflect the personal nature of this child care center. Through parent newsletters, magazine and store ads, event promotions, brochures, and new parent packets, we have changed the image of the facility from a day care to a school. And even more rewarding, enrollments are higher than ever.

Glow Girl Cosmetics

When Glow Girl Cosmetics came to us, they were looking to create brand recognition. A relative newcomer to the tween cosmetics market, they needed to differentiate themselves from the litany of competitors.

Glow Girl was born – confident, independent, and fun, she embodies the philosophy of the company. Intentionally ambiguous clothing and coloring allow girls of all cultures to relate to her. The new identity was applied across the board to the website, product packaging, and store signage. The new look is taking hold, and brand recognition has increased significantly in the New York City area.
