The common challenge amongst the creators of new or complex technology and the users of this technology is language. How do you communicate a concept about something that is neither in the users realm of expertise or experience?

The answer to that is information graphics, the visual representation of the information that the creator wishes to convey. Infographics use simplified, abstracted universal symbols, visual illusions, icons, and colors to describe something that, using text, require a prohibitive amount of time to understand.
