Wellness center gets a healthy new look.
Case Study // Spinal Care Chiropractic Center

  • Spinal Care Chiropractic Center has extremely devoted patients. What started as a chiropractic center quickly evolved into a total wellness center. Therapy starts with treating the cause of the pain but works towards healing the whole person. Even when that means referring patients to other doctors.

The rapidly growing group was planning a move to a new space and saw this as an opportunity to expand their services – adding nutritionists, acupuncturists, therapeutic massage therapists, and a palates studio. Up to this point business growth was driven by referrals only, with extremely limited marketing and no advertising or literature.

    Enter Water Design Studio.

Water Design was hired to rebrand Spinal Care Chiropractic Center and raise awareness of the newly expanded offerings.

The senior docs and management knew they wanted a look that was vastly different than the average chiropractor, so we started with an image that embodies their dedication to total body wellness: a tree, from roots to leaves. We then simplified their positioning message to better reflect the positive lifestyle changes that result from their service:

  • Spinal Care Chiropractic Center. Because life doesn’t stop when you’re hurting.

The campaign focused on sales collateral, web-based initiatives, and a series of print & outdoor ads with messages that were amusing, relatable, and spoke directly to the target. Everyday scenarios were used in the ads.

The results? Within 6 months of opening their new space, the group was already preparing to expand again – tripling the size of the palates/yoga studio. Appointments shot up for all services, and some (like the nutritionist) were booked out 6 weeks in advance.

“This office really changes people’s lives.” says Shannon Smith, office manager of Spinal Care Chiropractic Center. “It’s exciting that our brand touches people and lets them know we can help. And it’s beautiful to boot! We love it.”
